Job Summary

Diesel Technician Recruiter responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). Partners with Leadership, Hiring Managers and HRBP to determine staffing needs and communicate hiring processes. Builds Quality Talent Network and Pipeline of Diesel Technicians in searchable database. Screens resumes and interviews candidates (by phone or in person). Uses traditional and nontraditional resources (career fairs, online job fairs, community events) to identify and attract quality candidates. Develops and maintains relationships with Diesel and Automotive Technical Schools, military sources, diversity organizations, and colleges; maintains Job Postings; creates recruitment programs including Apprenticeship and Referral programs; manages internal transfers; ensures compliance with laws; uses WorkDay ATS; conducts background checks and drug screenings; travel within US and internationally 2-3 times per year. Skills include Active Listening, Written/Oral Communication, Time management, Social Perceptiveness, Critical Thinking, Deductive Reasoning, and more. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of prior Diesel Technician/skilled labor recruiting experience.
