Job Summary
Diesel Technician in the US Generator Rental Division responsible for servicing and maintaining Power Plus rental generators. Work in the shop and occasionally drive to customer sites, interact professionally with customers, and complete inspection paperwork evaluating generator performance. Responsibilities include fueling, operating, and maintaining generators; assisting in installation at various sites (telecommunication facilities, existing structures, construction trailers); ordering parts for repairs; basic maintenance and troubleshooting of generator systems (oil, coolant services, fuel system priming).
Required Qualifications
- Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Diesel generator experience a plus
- Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric and or like military experience would be a plus
- Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application
- Class A license preferred
