Job Summary
Conduct diesel engine repair and heavy equipment maintenance on Freightliner, Western Star, and similar fleets using your own tools. Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting on Detroit, Cummins, and other heavy truck systems while applying DTNA factory training. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean MVR, with a Class A CDL preferred, to support a rotating schedule that includes weekends and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including some weekends and overtime
- A valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Class A CDL is preferred, not required
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include two or more years of experience or technical education in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment maintenance, automotive repair, or related mechanical fields
- Applicants with one year of technical training and practical repair experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience with Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins is a plus
- DTNA training is a major bonus
- Your own set of tools, suitable for a diesel tech role
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and diagnostic software)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Class A CDL is preferred, not required
