Job Summary
Respond timely to road assist calls by diagnosing and repairing maintenance issues on trucks in all weather conditions. Identify parts requiring replacement and warrantable repairs, documenting them appropriately. Perform diagnostics and non-road assist call repairs that can be dropped quickly. Restock the rapid assist vehicle with tools, parts, tires, or supplies as needed. Perform maintenance or repairs to the road assist vehicle and assist with designated in-shop repairs when not on road calls. Drive a Penske Road Assist vehicle outfitted with tools and supplies. Candidates must have prior tractor trailer repair experience and proficiency in using all types of repair tools.
Required Qualifications
- prior, demonstrated experience in tractor trailer repair
- proficiency in the use of all types of repair tools
- willingness to drive a Penske Road Assist vehicle that is outfitted with tools and supplies
