Job Summary
Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair refrigeration units designed for commercial trucks and trailers (Carrier and Thermo King). Read complex schematics, test electrical/mechanical/pneumatic systems, identify warrantable repairs, document on repair orders, and perform road tests to verify proper operation. Maintain a safe, organized work area and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Utilize hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, gauges) and power tools (pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, jacks/hoists). Provide support for preventative maintenance and tractor-trailer maintenance as required by location management; ensure parts meet factory specifications. Location: Concord, NC with on-site responsibilities.
