Diesel Technician/Mechanic - Mobile Refrigeration (Thermo-King/Carrier)

Job Summary
Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair refrigeration units for commercial trucks and trailers with a focus on Carrier and Thermo King equipment. Test electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; read complex schematics; identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders. Maintain a safe, clean work area; road-test vehicles when needed to diagnose malfunctions or verify proper operation. Perform duties with minimal supervision and efficiently complete tasks. Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, gauges) and power tools (pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, jacks/hoists). Provide support for preventative maintenance and tractor-trailer maintenance as required by location management; inspect dimensions/clearances to ensure conformance to factory specifications; perform other projects as assigned.
