Job Summary
Penske Diesel Technician/Mechanic III - Entry Level responsible for preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a mixed fleet, using diagnostic tools to log, research and complete repairs (including basic vehicle diagnostics). Duties include preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, some electrical system and cooling system maintenance, and collaborating with management to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching. Location is Ypsilanti, MI with on-site responsibilities; shift premiums available for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Training and certification programs provided to support career growth and industry certification.
