Job Summary
Run diagnostic tests and analyze results to determine unit condition by identifying deficiencies. Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems. Read schematics for electrical and air systems and test equipment after repair to ensure compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Maintain shop cleanliness and develop technical skills through training opportunities. This role is safety sensitive and requires a full complement of tools, with frequent lifting up to 75 pounds. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, plus a motor vehicle records check if driving responsibilities exist.
