Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. Accurately document repairs and complete work orders while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical if required for the role
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to access tight spaces
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, or crawl as needed
