Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles and related equipment to control downtime. Perform preventive maintenance within specified Service Repair Times (SRT) and follow established procedures and safety guidelines. Accurately complete required forms and enter repair orders into the computer system. Participate in appropriate training to maintain professional and technical knowledge while ensuring company confidentiality. Contribute to team efforts by recommending improved processes and supporting department goals.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool or GED
- 2 - 5 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer two years on the job training/experience
- diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school
