Job Summary
Diesel Technician needed to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, Cummins, Detroit, and others) and perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities include documenting repairs and parts, collaborating with service advisors and managers, delivering high-quality repairs, and providing customer-focused service. Requires a high school diploma or GED; diesel training preferred but not required; 18+ months of diesel repair or related experience preferred; tools required. 2nd shift: 2:30pm-12:30am, Mon-Fri; Indianapolis, IN area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Diesel technician school or technical training is preferred but not required
- Experience with semi-truck repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair
- CDL – preferred, not required
- Must own a basic set of tools
