Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues by conducting thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed while communicating effectively with team members and management to ensure timely completion. Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times. Full-time position with a valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
