Job Summary

Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles by reading job orders, observing vehicle operation to resolve malfunctions, and planning work procedures. Follow checklists to examine critical parts, adjust protective guards and safety devices, and test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation. Tag warranty parts and returns, complete assigned service and repairs according to safety requirements and published procedures, and adhere to manufacturer policies for labor operations and torque specifications. Maintain a designated workspace, ensure guest vehicles are returned clean, and develop positive relationships with customers. Attend training classes and review factory technical bulletins while making every effort to achieve production objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Ford Certification
  • Previous experience in a Ford dealership
  • At least 1 year of Fleet or Dealership experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess own tools
