Job Summary
Repair and maintain diesel trucks by diagnosing and fixing oil and coolant leaks, drivelines, fuel systems, EGR components, turbos, and body control systems. Follow troubleshooting trees to address most engine codes and repair APUs. Record clear notes, charge out parts in TINA, and tag removed parts for warranty. Manage difficult customer situations while ensuring safety and punctuality. Requires ASE Diesel Certification, three to six months of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- ASE Diesel Certification
- three to six months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience as a Diesel Technician
- 609 Certified
- Air Brake Certified
- Valid CDL License a plus
- ASE Diesel Certification a Plus
- Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, MX Certified a plus
