Job Summary
Diesel Technician III on day shift responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel trucks, diagnosing with a troubleshooting tree, repairing fuel systems, drivelines, oil and coolant leaks, EGR/DPF/turbos, and basic truck electronic systems. Must follow a troubleshooting tree to diagnose and repair codes, document parts used for warranty, and demonstrate competencies in customer service, teamwork, attendance, and safety. Preferred: 3-5 years of experience as a Diesel Technician; 609/Cummins/Volvo MX certifications; CDL license a plus; ASE Diesel Certification a Plus. Location: Kansas City, KS area; KS Kansas Avenue RTI in Kansas City.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; ASE Diesel Certification, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
