Job Summary
Diesel Technician III responsible for diagnosing and performing heavy-duty tractor maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment, including engines, transmissions, gear boxes, brake systems, hydraulic, and electrical systems; performs inspections and routine preventive services, documents work orders and DVIRs, and ensures compliance with CHP/BIT/PM inspection requirements. Possesses proficiency in identifying parts names, using tools (including compressed gas torch), and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Travel is estimated at less than 25%. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or technical training and 3+ years welding experience, with strong experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and electronic control modules.

- 4+ years experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Must have own tools
