Diesel Technician III

Job Summary
Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions, then perform advanced diagnostics to suggest accurate system repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance services including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements while inspecting orders for quality before customer delivery. Troubleshoot and repair complex systems such as brakes, suspension, electrical, exhaust, and diesel engines, plus perform welding and alignment tasks. Train new service shop employees on company procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Requires a Diesel Technology Associate's degree, seven years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, and knowledge of trailer repairs. Full benefits and retirement enrollment available on day one.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Technology Associates degree
- 7 + years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks
- Experience repairing 53' trailers
- Training experience
- Diagnostic experience
- Welding experience
- Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox
- Ability to train of Technicians
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
