Diesel Technician II

Job Summary
Independently perform vehicle repairs and services of higher complexity, including road service, while adhering to safety, environmental, and federal/state vehicle requirements. Conduct diagnostic tests, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance such as oil and filter changes. Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing major assemblies in power, drive, electrical, brake, and emission systems. Produce accurate repair estimates and communicate repair needs and value to customers and sales staff. Operate company vehicles safely and assume other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Valid Drivers license
- DOT medical card
- Ability to lift 125 lbs
