Diesel Technician II

Job Summary
Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions, then perform preventative maintenance solutions and routine services like oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and exhaust components. Troubleshoot and fix fuel tanks, fifth wheels, and drivelines while performing tandem alignments and basic welding. Maintain an 80% productivity rate, prevent comebacks, and keep a clean, organized workspace. Requires an associate degree in Diesel Technology, three years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, and airbrake certification. Weekly pay with monthly bonuses based on productivity, full benefits, and retirement enrollment available on day one.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Technology Associates degree
- 3 + years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks
- Experience repairing 53' trailers
- Welding
- Airbrake certified
- Ability to lift 50lbs
