Diesel Technician II

Diesel Technician II at FleetPride performs preventive maintenance, basic and advanced repairs, and component replacements on heavy-duty trucks and trailers with limited supervision. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle systems, conducting inspections, maintaining high productivity, and performing brake, suspension, electrical, exhaust, steering, air conditioning, PTO, fuel systems, driveline, and accessory repairs. The role requires completing routine maintenance services (oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements), testing components, fabricating using machinery, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Education and training include a Diesel Technology Associates degree and 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks, with welding certification and ability to use standard hand and power tools.
