Job Summary
Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions, then provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate. Perform routine services including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements while repairing brakes, suspension systems, electrical components, and exhaust systems. Troubleshoot and fix fuel tanks, fifth wheels, and custom exhaust systems, utilizing machinery to repair driveshafts and perform welding. Maintain a clean workspace and ensure 80% productivity with zero comebacks. Requires an associates degree in Diesel Technology and three years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks. Located in Irving, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Technology Associates degree
- 3 + years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks
- Experience repairing 53' trailers
- Welding
- Airbrake certified
- Ability to lift 50lbs
