Job Summary

Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions, then perform preventative maintenance solutions and routine services like oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and steering components while troubleshooting fuel tanks, fifth wheels, and custom exhaust systems. Test drive vehicles and utilize machinery to repair driveshafts, perform welding, and fabricate parts. Maintain an 80% productivity rate, prevent comebacks, and keep a clean workspace. Requires a Diesel Technology associate degree, three years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, and airbrake certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Diesel Technology Associates degree
  • 3 + years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks
  • Experience repairing 53' trailers
  • Welding
  • Airbrake certified
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
