Job Summary
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes across air, hydraulic, electric, and accessory systems. Troubleshoot and fix exhaust, steering, and air conditioning components while test driving vehicles and using diagnostic software. Record final measurements, services, and parts used, noting any special customer requests. File, grind, sand, and smooth repaired surfaces with power and hand tools. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and limit job comebacks to zero. Requires Diesel Technology associate degree, one year of mechanical experience, and air brake certification. Entry-level opportunity with an annualized pay range of $14.00 to $38.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Technology associates degree
- 1+ years of mechanical experience
- Air Brake certified
- Valid Driver's licenses
- Experience as a Class 7 and 8 Technician
- Experience repairing 53' trailers
- Ability to lift 50lbs
