Diesel Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel trucks and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and fuel systems. Troubleshoot advanced systems including electrical and aftertreatment, while completing preventative maintenance and scheduled services for brakes, suspension, HVAC, and related systems. Diagnose and repair electrical components and wiring, test batteries, starters, and alternators, and accurately document all work performed. Maintain a clean, organized work area following shop procedures and safety standards. This hands-on shop role involves frequent standing, lifting 50+ pounds, and exposure to noise, heat, and shop conditions. We invest in our technicians with OEM training and a clear path to Journeyman Technician.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of mechanical experience or trade/technical school training
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Frequent standing, lifting 50+ pounds, and physical activity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks or equipment
- Knowledge of diagnostic systems and tools
- Experience performing DOT inspections and preventative maintenance
