Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Ruan tractors and trailers, ranging from routine checks to larger repair jobs. Diagnose equipment issues using the latest diagnostic technology and access to specialty tools provided by the shop. Execute larger repairs for experienced technicians while maintaining up-to-date transmission, engine, and diagnostic skills. Welding experience is preferred, and candidates must pass pre-employment physicals, drug screens, and Ruan certification tests. This role offers weekly pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for advancement into management with extensive paid training.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of experience
- Transmission, engine and diagnostic experience
- Ability to pass Ruan certification tests
- Candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school
- Class A CDL
- Welding experience
