Job Summary
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles; performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles; completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage; makes road calls; owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions; follows orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor; eligible for ASE certification bonuses and CDL training; high school diploma or trade school; CDL license required or willing to pursue; ASE certifications encouraged; strong English communication skills; physical strength suitable for shop tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
- Training or experience in automotive, truck or bus repair
- Driver's license
- Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license
- Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
- Adequate English verbal and written communication skills
- Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
