Job Summary
Perform basic electrical, mechanical diagnostic, and repair of customer vehicles, equipment, trailers, and material handling machinery. Diagnose and repair automatic brake systems while maintaining accurate parts inventory and resolving discrepancies. Operate power and hand tools, including class 8 tractors, and work independently at remote commercial customer sites or out of a mobile shop truck. Serve as a mentor for Vehicle Technicians B and C. This role requires a Class A CDL, 3-5 years of experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be capable of driving company equipment, lifting 50lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 3-5 years of work experience
- Class A CDL and maintaining it is required
- Must be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractors
- Must be capable of driving and working out of a mobile shop truck
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and potentially be able to vary the start and finish times including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for shift assigned must be able to work out in the elements at commercial customer work sites
- Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards
- Ability to work remotely at various commercial customer sites without direct supervision

- A.S.E. certification
- D.O.T. Brake and Annual Inspection certification
