Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex vehicle components with minimal supervision, ensuring all work meets OEM guidelines and factory standards. Perform repairs outlined on repair orders while communicating with the parts department and service advisor regarding additional needs or delays. Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned, document all work performed, and report machinery defects to the supervisor. Maintain accountability for dealership tools and manuals, operate equipment safely, and complete assigned company training. Maintain an efficiency rate of 85% or higher. This experienced role requires a valid driver's license (CDL preferred) and is essential for upholding the dealership's reputation for excellence in service operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Diesel school
- 3+ years related experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid Driver License
- CDL
