Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs based on driver pre and post trip checks. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and test drives to resolve malfunctions, then rebuild and replace hydraulic components, brakes, and other mechanical systems. Work in adverse weather conditions to ensure maximum reliability and safety, while adhering to lockout/tagout procedures and maintaining all relevant work records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
