Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, and adjustments to ensure safety and reliability. Troubleshoot reported problems, run diagnostic tests, and analyze results to resolve malfunctions in a timely manner. Build, assemble, and replace hydraulic components, hoses, and other mechanical parts according to requirements. Perform accurate lockout/tagout procedures and maintain all relevant records for work and procedures. Work in adverse conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow to repair vehicles and stationary equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
