Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs including hydraulic components, brakes, and tires. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and computer equipment, then correct malfunctions found during test drives. Perform lockout/tagout procedures and build or replace mechanical components according to requirements. Work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain accurate records for all work and procedures while adhering to company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
