Job Summary
Diesel Technician/Mechanic needed to diagnose and repair major systems on Bobcat compact equipment, conduct preventative maintenance inspections, perform system rebuilds/overhauls, and weld as part of service tasks. The role involves collaborating with Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams to meet customer needs, requires a strong diesel/ mechanical background and 2+ years of experience, and supports a Monday–Friday schedule (7am–4pm) in Champaign, IL. This is a full-time position with a DOE pay range of $25–$40 per hour and benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA contributions, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, and training opportunities. Must be able to lift items over 50 lbs and work in an active environment with exposure to fumes, moving parts, and noise.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in equipment service operations
- Strong mechanical background including diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical
- Ability to communicate with customers
- Able to perform inspections and repairs on diesel/compact equipment
- Welding skills a plus
