Job Summary
Maintenance Technician B performs repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies and control systems, hydraulic and electrical, air brake, engine, HVAC, suspension, drive train and steering systems, and may perform basic tire work. They provide road service when necessary, diagnose malfunctions with electronic tools, and complete company training programs. The role supports a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment and offers opportunities for professional growth. Must have the ability to diagnose multi-system issues and perform preventative and repair maintenance with moderate proficiency; previous experience with heavy-duty vehicles or equivalent training, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of both gasoline and diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair or graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next 3 months
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required
- Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required
- Valid Driver’s License
