Apprentice program to train entry-level diesel technician over two years through hands-on shop work, with nine weeks of company-paid training at the Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, TX, followed by twenty-two months of on-the-job training (OJT) that includes mentorship and instruction toward Apprentice certification as a Republic Services entry level Diesel Mechanic. The program emphasizes leadership development, life skills and wellness, with potential advancement to a Level C Technician and guaranteed consideration for a full-time technician position upon graduation.
