Job Summary
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks while performing electrical diagnosis of starting and charging systems. Inspect and identify components for air conditioning, heating, wheel end assemblies, air systems, air brakes, and hydraulics. Complete hands-on training at the Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, Texas, followed by on-the-job training with mentorship toward certification as a Level C Technician. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to travel and live in Dallas for initial training.

- Commitment to completing this two-year program
- Interest in engineering and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights/weekends or holidays
- Willingness to uphold the values and expectations at Republic Services, including safety, ethics, and respect
- Willingness to travel to & live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training
