Job Summary
Work alongside a knowledgeable Diesel Technician to learn maintenance, repairs, and preventative care for vehicles and equipment. Perform tasks including adjusting brakes and hydraulic pressures, changing tires, and rebuilding hydraulic components. Identify defects affecting equipment availability and safety while executing lockout/tagout procedures and driver pre/post trip inspections. Complete work orders in accordance with company safety policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Basic knowledge or experience in automotive, diesel or heavy equipment diagnostics and repair
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
