Job Summary
Conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative inspections on vehicles and equipment while working alongside senior technicians. Perform tasks including adjusting brakes and hydraulics, changing tires, rebuilding components, and executing lockout/tagout procedures. Complete work orders based on driver pre and post trip inspections to ensure safe operations. Participate in training opportunities to expand knowledge of company products and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Basic knowledge or experience in automotive, diesel or heavy equipment diagnostics and repair
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting of heavy components, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing and consistent standing, walking and grasping
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including a drug screen
- Preference will be given to candidates who are able and willing to work 2nd shift hours
