Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment while working alongside senior technicians. Complete work orders based on driver pre and post trip inspections, adjusting brakes, clutches, hydraulic pressures, and performing tire changes. Build, rebuild, or replace hydraulic components and hoses, and identify defects affecting equipment availability and operator safety. Execute lockout/tagout procedures and adhere strictly to company safety policies and regulations. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license, and a basic knowledge of automotive or diesel diagnostics. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the United States, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Successful completion of pre-employment testing, including a drug screen, is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Basic knowledge or experience in automotive, diesel or heavy equipment diagnostics and repair
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
