Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by performing pre and post trip inspections, completing adjustments and alignments, and correcting vehicle deficiencies. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions, then rebuild, replace, or repair hydraulic components, brakes, suspension, and engine systems. Work in adverse weather conditions to ensure maximum reliability and safety, while maintaining accurate records for all procedures and issues. Participate in training opportunities to expand knowledge of company products and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
