Job Summary
Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers; conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes; collaborate with repair team to diagnose vehicle problems and plan repairs; maintain accurate repair records; repair, modify, and perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles; ensure maintenance of equipment operation and compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations; troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions; inspect fleet vehicles for DOT compliance; complete daily reporting; manage parts and inventory; prepare maintenance reports by analyzing information and trends; maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of fleet maintenance experience
- Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals/equipment and repair manuals
- Experience with Microsoft and diagnostic applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
