Job Summary
Perform daily diesel equipment maintenance, complete pre and post trip inspections, and correct vehicle deficiencies to ensure safety and reliability. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and computer equipment, then rebuild, replace, or repair hydraulic components, brakes, and engine systems. Work in adverse weather conditions to maintain trucks and stationary equipment, adhering to all lockout/tagout procedures and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of all work and procedures while participating in training to advance skills through the company's Career Pathways Program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
