Job Summary
Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, and adjustments to ensure safety and reliability. Troubleshoot reported problems using diagnostic tests and computer equipment, then correct malfunctions through repairs, rebuilds, and hydraulic component replacements. Perform lockout/tagout procedures, conduct tire and brake changes, and maintain accurate records for all work and procedures. Work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow to repair vehicles and stationary equipment. Operate in both garage and outdoor shop environments while adhering to company safety policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A, B, or C Driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting of heavy components, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing and consistent standing, walking and grasping
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
