Job Summary
Provide required maintenance, including diagnosis and repair for Hogan tractor and truck equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections using correct procedures. Diagnose and repair tractors and trucks using hand and power tools, addressing braking systems, electrical systems, clutches, air conditioning, steering mechanisms, and wheels. Identify parts for repair, remove broken components, and replace them with new or reconditioned parts. Road test vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure safe operation. Use hydraulic jacks to raise equipment. Requires 6-10 years of Diesel Tech experience, a clean MVR, and in-depth knowledge of all hand, air, and power tools. Pays $30-$36 per hour with medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- In-depth knowledge of all hand, air and power tools required for this industry
- Basic understanding and knowledge of welding and Oxy/Acetylene cutting procedures
- Overall complete knowledge with comprehensive truck/trailer repair
- Extensive diagnostic and repair knowledge
- Clean MVR
- 6-10 years of Diesel Tech experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Vision: Near, Color, and Peripheral
- Sense of Sound: Standard
- Sense of Touch
- Sense of Balance
