Job Summary
Maximize maintenance workforce efficiency and ensure cost-effective facility utilization by overseeing assigned shops, maintaining budget constraints, and meeting all safety and regulatory requirements. Lead daily supervision of shop supervisors and employees, ensuring proper training completion and equipment availability. Monitor purchases, negotiate vendor contracts for supplies and disposal services, and determine best solutions for repair decisions. Direct accident estimates and bids for outsourced equipment while ensuring customer sites adhere to tire inflation and safety check schedules. Coordinate SOP reviews, participate in cost reduction programs, and interact with all departments to measure performance and drive corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years heavy duty vehicle maintenance experience
- Previous shop leadership experience
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft suite
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
