Job Summary
Oversee assigned maintenance shops to maximize workforce efficiency, ensuring appropriate staffing, budget compliance, and adherence to safety and government regulations. Lead daily supervision of shop supervisors and employees, manage vendor negotiations for supplies and disposal, and determine repair solutions for equipment. Conduct accident estimates for outsourced work, coordinate tire inflation and safety check schedules for customer locations, and interact with departments to measure performance and recommend corrective actions. Participate in cost reduction programs and review SOP policies to support shop operations. Requires 4+ years of heavy duty vehicle maintenance experience and shop leadership background.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years heavy duty vehicle maintenance experience
- Previous shop leadership experience
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft suite
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
