Job Summary
Diagnose and repair malfunctions on light-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles by reading job orders, listening to vehicle operation, and following checklists to examine critical parts. Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth performance, tag warranty parts, and maintain designated workspaces while ensuring guest vehicles are returned clean. Complete all repairs according to safety requirements and published procedures, properly document labor operations and torque specifications, and adhere to manufacturer policies. Participate in assigned technical training and factory bulletins while developing positive relationships with customers to increase overall happiness. Achieve production objectives set by management and utilize technical training to the best of one's abilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of Fleet or Dealership experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Possess own tools
Desired Qualifications
- Prior CDJR experience preferred
- ASE certification preferred
- CDL certification preferred
- Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
- Self-motivated and professional
