Job Summary
Interact with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and inspect motors in operation, road test vehicles, and use diagnostic tools to isolate faults. Adjust, repair, or replace parts across diesel systems including fuel, brakes, steering, suspension, engine, emission control, cooling, and electrical components using hand and power tools. Evaluate repaired systems against manufacturer specifications, perform scheduled maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups, and test mechanical units such as engines and transmissions. Advise customers and Service Advisors on work performed and future repair requirements. Must work straight afternoon shifts from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel Service Technician 310T or 310J certification
- Must be able to work straight afternoon shifts: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
- Consistently able to work independently
- Intermediate drivability diagnostics
- Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract
- Strong Communication Skills
- Problem Solving Skills to work independently and with a team
