Job Summary
Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel trucks and commercial equipment while performing preventative maintenance and scheduled service. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air brake systems, then complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship. Conduct safety inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready, document all repairs and maintenance performed, and strictly follow OSHA and company safety procedures. OSHA training is provided for all employees.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Experience performing road tests after repairs
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Experience working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks
