Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix trucks and other mobile equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues and implement effective repair solutions. Inspect equipment to ensure it meets all safety and operational standards and maintain accurate service, maintenance, and repair records. Complete scheduled maintenance in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime while collaborating with operations personnel to prioritize repairs. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. This full-time role in Pittsburg, PA offers $35.24 per hour with a tool allowance and requires successful completion of a post-offer physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment or commercial vehicles
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and producing quality work
- Successful completion of a post-offer physical examination
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
