Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on medium and heavy-duty vehicles by reading job orders, observing vehicle operation, and adjusting safety devices. Tag warranty parts, maintain accurate repair records, and operate forklifts to move equipment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and mentor apprentices through hands-on coaching. Uphold a safe, compliant work environment by following established procedures and utilizing digital tools to streamline workflows. Attend training classes to stay current on factory technical bulletins and manufacturer procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Medium or heavy-duty technician, equivalent experience or qualification
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Applicable certifications related to industry, products, and/or safety
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Desired Qualifications
- Currently maintains or can obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
